We take great pride in the trust they place in us and their feedback

Paris – June 2014

Wow!  The trip to Paris that you planned for my daughter and family turned out to be perfect.  The hotel location and requested itinerary…worked out so well for them.  I have never heard such enthusiasm.  From beginning to end, their stay was a dream come true.  Many thanks!  Carolyn H.

Alaska – Holland America Cruise – June 2014

The cruise ship is a combination of "time gone by elegance" and "anything goes".   This was my first cruise and Sheila and I took advantage of almost every facility on board.  We signed up for the spa and luxuriated in the mineral salts whirlpool as well as lounging around on ceramic recliners.

Our cabin was spacious, attractive and quiet.  Designated dining was splendid and the dining staff remembered our names and what we liked right from the word go. We dined there at breakfast and evening and Sheila enjoyed a solo lunch. For those passengers who enjoyed dressing up for formal dinner nights it was a sight to behold.    A constant source of delicious and well-presented  food was available on the Lido Deck and we took advantage of the offerings when we were hungry   We came and went as we pleased, no pressure.

The On Shore trips were well run and informative,… My favourite trip was out to Carcross by van with a very informative guide, and back by train..

So all in all a good time was had by both of us and now my husband and I are thinking of doing a New England Cruise next fall.      Judy L.

Bermuda – May 2014

…”Steve and I would like to thank for all of your help with booking our trip to Bermuda.  The Reefs was a wonderful place to stay and would go back there in the future.  It was relaxing and food was delicious.  Thanks again.”      MaryAnn and Steve S.

Italy – April 2014

I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we all had in Italy!  The trip couldn't have gone more smoothly! We had great guides, drivers, etc and saw everything we wanted to see. The weather cooperated and our feet and tongues were tired from taking it all in. It was quite a history lesson and so much more!

You did a terrific job setting everything up and it all went off without a hitch!

Thank you so much for planning a trip that was exactly what we had wished for and left us all with amazing memories, that we'll cherish for a long time!

Uniworld River Cruise – Paris & Normandy – April 2014

..”We were so lucky. Paris and Normandy had had a mild winter this year and a very early Spring so when we arrived all the Spring bulbs, shrubs and flowering fruit trees were in full bloom, leaves on the trees and green grass lush. Our three days in Paris were such fun - loved the location of the La Perle - rooms and breakfast were perfect. With our trusty maps in hand we could walk easily to the Louvre, Notre Dame, D'Orsay Museum and the Eiffel Tower. Lots of fun shops and restaurants within 2 blocks of the hotel plus a magnificent cathedral and Luxembourg Gardens. Would highly recommend.

And of course Uniworld did their usual pampering best - stops on the Seine were all interesting. We enjoyed especially the visit to the Normandy Beaches and the walking tours of the quaint towns of Rouen and Honfleur. We tacked on a visit to Giverny too - the Monet water gardens and flower gardens had just opened for the season and were loaded with all the spring blooms. Uniworld offered lots of optional excursions - I had a 2 hour bike ride along the Seine, also a climb up the mountain to a medieval castle. Best cruise director ever, Tony Jenkins from Wales knew everyone on board by name after the first day and worked hard to keep everyone happy!      Jane H.

Riviera Maya - April 2014

..”The trip was fantastic. Had a great time. perfect weather. Highlight was definitely weds trip to the ruins and Valladolid. Chichen-Itza was packed but we had the run of Ek Balam to ourselves. We were up, down, in and out of all the ruins and had a total blast. I would totally tell folks to hit Ek Balam is they want to see ruins close up and personal. the tour company you used was very good....a new benz minivan, driver and a tour guide (Fernando) who was packing a powerpoint presentation on the Maya, the area and all kinds of cool stuff. the kids dug it. he took us around the ruins explaining every detail. very cool getting the personalized treatment. swimming in the underground cenote was definitely a unique thing for the kids, blind catfish kept swimming into them.  Had a tremendous lunch at a 1600's hotel in Valladolid recommended by Fernando, had them sit with us and brought them lunch.  Good times, flight and transfers were smooth, loved the extra legroom on the plane.  Appreciate the help setting it up!!”     Pat McL.

Riviera Maya – April 2014

…”I'm writing to thank you, SO MUCH, for planning such a wonderful trip for us. Everything you said about the hotel was right....the food was awesome, the people couldn't have been nicer, it was smaller compared to the busier resorts, and it was absolutely beautiful! They upgraded our room and made our anniversary really special. It was better than our honeymoon!!! I attached some pictures of the resort in case you're interested.”    Rosalie E.

Rocky Mountaineer – September 2013

…”Gold service is the way to go - only category with DOME and you sit on the upper deck - dine on lower deck.    Silver and red and lower deck with large window or standard window.

Suggest take train from EASTBOUND.   Not too interesting within an hour of YVR and the best scenery is between Kamloops and Jasper/Banff....save the best 'til the end.

Ask for last car so you can go out and take pictures - you can't move from car to car so if you are not in the last you take pics from the side (blur) and at the rear you can take many interesting full shots.

Food was great on train

Purchase dinner in advance at Fairmont well worth it - app/dinner/desert - ANYTHING on menu.    Loved Gold upgrade at Fairmont - great rooms, super lounge, etc.

GYPSY for driving was super -recommend to everyone.    If you diverted, it diverted as well and made sightseeing suggestions, added walking distance, etc.”..     Ron & Marge F

Biking Britain - Lands End to John O’Groats – September 2013

..."Just a quick note to say that the bike trip was great and that I managed to ride just over 1000 miles and climbed 60 000 feet!  As a bonus, we had only 1 full day plus two half days or rain.  We were feeling very strong at the end and would have liked to keep going.  Like any large task, it becomes manageable if broken down into bits; although I will say one “bit” was 80 miles, which was a personal best for me.  Randy, of course, hardly broke a sweat.  The amount of climbing was unexpected and I needed my bike to have more lower gears (mental note for next time for me to question the company more closely on bike options).  The cycling routes were very well chosen and largely off the main roads, although we did need to ride on some very busy highways here and there.  The company is well organized and we would travel with them again.  There were 12 of us “guests” and Randy and I were known as “Team America” as we were the only ones from the US.  There were 5 Australians (aged ~60-early 70s!), one Russian and 3 from England and 1 Scot.  Only two couples—the others were single women or husbands whose wives don’t ride. We are still sorting pictures and will send you a link to some of the best ones once Randy has them posted.

All the arrangements you made worked out well—many thanks for your help.  We even managed to work in a few hours at the zoo our first day in London.  In case you maintain a database of traveler advice, I wanted to let you know that the locals advised us that the best way to get from the Glasgow Queen St train station to the airport is to take the airport bus shuttle that can be found across the street for the train station and is very well marked.  It is a regular route, so no reservations needed and the fare was 6 pounds sterling.  It seemed to work out well for us.  The Holiday Inn Express at the Glasgow airport is a very good choice— a decent restaurant for dinner, quiet rooms, and breakfast from 4 AM for early travelers.

Thanks again for all your help to organize this once-in-a-lifetime trip!"   Heather H.
